About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic and expanding team within our Aerospace Division. This role combines technical leadership with strategic growth, offering the opportunity to shape the development of world-class aerospace systems. You'll oversee a team of 4 engineers with plans for further growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor a team of Systems Engineers, supporting their professional growth and contributing to team expansion.
- Technical Expertise: Lead requirements management, system architecture development, and integration activities using tools like DOORS and Cradle. Preference for experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with SysML.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with international teams to deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions aligned with project goals.
- Adaptability & Culture: Thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Project Support: Oversee design reviews, lifecycle processes, and system integration for critical aerospace applications such as refueling and actuation systems.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or equivalent role.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a team and delivering systems engineering outputs.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency with tools like DOORS, MBSE, SysML, or CAMEO.
- Experience with full product lifecycle processes and design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Background in the aerospace or defence industry (candidates with transferable skills are welcome).
